Founded in 1175, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is one of the oldest universities in Italy and in the world. The university is also known as UNIMORE and it is located in Emilia-Romagna. It has seven faculties and it offers 32 bachelor’s degrees and around 40 master’s degrees. The university has more than 27,000 students and employs around 1,000 teaching and administrative staff. UNIMORE has always been ranked among the top public Italian universities for quality of teaching and research. The university pursues the promotion of international mobility through various exchange programme and seeks to build a multi-cultural campus experience for its students. Its long-standing tradition and active research in various fields makes it one of the leading universities in Italy.
