The University of Mons (UMONS) was officially established in 2009 after the merger of the University of Mons-Hainaut and the Polytechnic Faculty of Mons. The university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across a broad range of disciplines, including applied sciences, medicine, psychology, education, economics, and translation.
