Founded in 1883, the University of North Dakota (UND) is renowned for its programs in medicine, engineering, and aerospace. As the state's oldest and largest University, UND offers more than 225 fields of study for graduates and undergraduates. Cultivating leaders in many disciplines, its notable programs include Unmanned Aircraft Systems, where it was the first to establish this course nationwide. UND's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences operates one of the largest fleets of civil aircraft training aircraft in the world. The student body represents every state in the U.S, more than 50 countries.
