Overview

The University of Occupational and Environmental Health (UOEH) was established in 1978 in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan. This academic institution aims to understand the relationship between work and health, develop a new field called Occupational Health, and at the same time promote the prevention of occupational diseases and contribute to society by improving its health level. UOEH comprises three faculties which are the School of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, and the Department of Nursing. It focuses on environmental health, occupational health, and clinical medicine. UOEH's highlyesteemed faculty and vibrant student body aim to foster intellectual curiosity. Its broad range of academic graduate programs educates leaders who will in future define occupational health worldwide. The UOEH's research communities deeply inquire, vigorously debate, and collaboratively create transformative ideas.
