The University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus (UPRRP) is a public research university located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is the largest campus in terms of student population of the University of Puerto Rico system.

The University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, founded in 1903, is the oldest and largest higher learning institution in the Caribbean. With a student body of nearly 15,000, it offers a diverse range of programs which include arts and humanities, business and economics, education, science and technology, and social sciences. This institution is widely respected around the globe for its contributions to education, research, and service. The Rio Piedras Campus has been, and continues to be, the space where new ideas, projects, and services evolve aiming to contribute to the development and wellbeing of Puerto Ricans. It is on this campus where dictums are questioned, improvements are suggested, and innovative solutions are proposed and tested. The institution has also fostered strong educational leaders who have influenced local and international policies.
