Toulouse 1 Capitole University, established in 1968, is well-known for its rich academic tradition, dating back to 1229 when the university’s law school was created. The university occupies a unique position in French academic life as it is the only one to offer a comprehensive range of courses in the social sciences. UT1C has consistently aimed to adapt its courses to meet the needs of society and remains committed to its core vocational subjects such as law, economics, and management. The university has more than 16,000 students, served by around 500 teachers and 400 administrative staff.
