Founded in 2006, Wenzhou-Kean University is one of only three Sino-American universities along with NYU Shanghai and Duke Kunshan University. It's a non-profit Chinese-American jointly established higher education institution accredited both in the U.S. and China. The university is located on 494 acres in Wenzhou, province of Zhejiang with state-of-the-art facilities. WKU distinguishes itself through its liberal arts education with an international perspective and its emphasis on the development of leadership skills, fluency in English & Mandarin, and cross-cultural understanding among its students.
