Overview

The establishment of Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (locally known as Høgskulen på Vestlandet) resulted from the amalgamation of three reputable colleges. It offers a broad spectrum of academic programmes at Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. levels. Extensive research is carried out in a variety of areas such as health, technology, marine and social sciences, to mention a few. Community involvement and a strong focus on sustainable and innovation-led practices are upheld with great rigor.
