Overview
Founded in 1959, Xi'an University of Technology (XUT) is located in Xi'an, the starting point of the ancient Silk Road and a world-renowned place crammed with culture and history. Covering an area of more than 267 hectares, XUT has three campuses. It is a comprehensive and multidisciplinary research university featuring engineering, combining engineering and science, and coordinating engineering, science, management, economy, arts and law. Presently, XUT is under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Provincial Government and in the process of being jointly built by Shaanxi Provincial Government and the State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for National Defense.
