Xi'an International Studies University (XISU) is a prestigious institution of higher learning, and is the oldest foreign language university in Northwest China. The university offers 23 foreign language programs and seven non-language programs at the undergraduate level, and confers master’s degrees in Translation Studies and English Language & Literature. It now comprises 17 schools and departments, two teaching centers, and two research institutions and is home to approximately 11,000 students. The university fosters academic ties with educational institutions across the globe and enjoys good reputation home and abroad.
