Founded in 1975, Xinyang Normal University (XYNU) offers a multidisciplinary system for nearly 26,000 full-time undergraduate students and more than 4,700 postgraduates, covering four disciplines, including Arts and Literature, Science, Engineering, and Education. There are 17 colleges, with 56 undergraduate programs, and 43 specialized master degree programs. The university possesses a highly qualified team of 1,264 full-time teachers, where 114 boast senior titles and 180 with doctoral degrees. XYNU has commenced a series of scientific research platforms which includes provincial research institutes and city-level research centers. The university attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, it has established cooperative relationships with more than 30 universities and research institutes in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, etc.
