Overview

Xizang Minzu University, also known as Tibet University for Nationalities, is situated in Xianyang city, covering an area of around 3094.37 acres. It's an important cradle for cultivating ethnic minority talents in China. XMU has 12 postgraduate degree programs, 56 undergraduate programs, and offers courses and programs leading to formally recognized higher education degrees in several fields of study. Since its founding, the University has graduated over 100,000 students from 56 ethnic groups. The university's paramount focus is on promoting ethnic unity and fostering talents for border regions, underlining the mission to consolidate the borders, enrich the people and rejuvenate the Chinese nation. It actively promotes academic exchange and cooperation at home and abroad.
