Yichun University

Yichun University, located in Yichun, Jiangxi, China, was established in 1958. It is a key University in Jiangxi province, widely known for its focus on various specialized academic fields. With over 13,500 students, it is one of the large- scale provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate educational institutions in Jiangxi Province.

Overview

Yichun University, popularly known as YCU, was inaugurated in the year 1958 featuring 14 secondary schools. The university offers 50 undergraduate programs, among which management, science, engineering, literature, law, economics, education, art, and medical science are the major ones. The university is also in good co-operation with higher education institutions and scientific research institutions from more than 10 countries, like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Australia, and South Korea, and has built the system of 'double-qualified' teachers. The university library holds a rich collection of about 2.86 million books and has modern electronic reading rooms. It has become the large-scale provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate educational institution and high-level professional degree graduate education base construction university. The 13,500 students include a mix of international students, undergraduate students, professional degree graduate students and continuing education students.
