Zhaoqing University was founded in 1978 and has grown steadily since then. The university is a comprehensive institution, combining full-time undergraduate, continuing education, international students' education, and higher vocational and professional education. It consists of 18 colleges offering more than 70 undergraduate majors. Its main disciplines include Natural Science, Engineering, Literature, Management, Economics, Law, Education, History and Art, and it encompasses a wide range of subjects and multidisciplinary research. The enrollment is approximately 10,000 students who have come from all over China and abroad. The faculty is made up of more than 800 full-time teachers.
