Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) has a rich history and tradition dating back to its establishment in 1956. The university has grown and developed rapidly and is known for its comprehensive and high-quality educational programs and its excellence in teacher education. The main campus covers an area of more than 220 hectares and the university comprises of 18 colleges, offering 61 undergraduate programs, 96 postgraduate programs and 9 doctoral programs. Currently, there are over 25,700 full-time students studying at ZJNU, including over 1500 international students from over 90 countries. The university is engaged in extensive international cooperation and exchange, establishing partnerships with more than 100 universities and educational or scientific research institutions in 50 countries and regions.
