Zhengzhou University of Light Industry (ZZULI) is a state-run full-time multi-disciplinary university under the authority of Henan Provincial Government. ZZULI is one of the key construction universities in Henan Province 'Double First Class' initiative. The university carries out bachelor, master, and doctor-degree education. It has 17 colleges, 62 undergraduate specialties, covering 9 disciplinary fields. Its teaching staff is over 1900 members strong, and it provides 12 doctoral degree programs, 92 master degree programs and 10 engineering master degree specialties (MBA, EMBA, etc.). The university is the cradle of Light industry higher education in China. It has exerted far-reaching influences in the fields of food science, fermentation, polymer material & engineering, silicate, automation, and mechanical manufacturing technologies, and been recognized nationally and internationally.
