Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering (ZUAE) is a key public university under the provincial government of Guangdong, offering a range of programs and courses related to agriculture, science, engineering, management, economics, education, and the liberal arts. It is known for being one of the first institutions to offer continuing education and modern distance education in China. The university is built on an area of 1.33 km² and has an extraordinarily beautiful campus encircled by a number of hills and a lake. It has been recognized as a garden-style unit in Guangdong Province and is one of the first batches of units to earn the title of “Green University in Guangdong Province. It is also ranked high in the Guangdong provincial “double first-rate” initiative.
